Roofing Installation

A container will be placed in your driveway.  Please do not place any household waste in the dumpster.

We will place tarps at strategic locations around your property to catch falling debris and use boards to protect trees and shrubbery near the house.

We tear off all existing roofing material down to the decking, pull or re-sink all nails, and make small repairs to the sheathing before installing your new roof.

We use synthetic underlayment, which lies flatter and controls moisture much better than it's felt counterparts.

 We use a Self-Sealing Ice and Water Barrier, which is designed to act as an additional line of protection against water penetration in areas prone to leaks and to help prevent water damage.

We use this self-sealing membrane to seal around any areas where pipes penetrate the roof.

Ice and Water Shield is primarily used as a product to protect against ice damming in the northern regions. Here in the south, it is used to stop wind-driven rain from pushing under the shingles and causing the eaves on your house to rot.

We place a full-width run of Ice and Water Shield in all valleys and around dormers.  These are just a few of the locations most prone to leak over time.

Ice and Water Shield is used as an extra layer of protection under the metal flashing at all side wall locations.

Chimneys are the #1 leak spot on most homes.  We take extra care at these locations to ensure a leak-free installation. We first place Ice and Water Shield, then Step flashing, and follow up with counter flashing, 3 Layers of protection.

Bad ventilation can lead to premature shingle failure and increased heating and cooling costs. We will assess the ventilation and talk to you about increasing it if needed.
